Commercial Ventilation Installation

Commercial Ventilation System Installation Across Kent, Essex and London

Design, Supply, and Installation of Commercial Ventilation Systems with Mountair

Air quality in the workplace has never been more important. In fact, in the last few years, this has become an essential element when considering compliance and the provision of building services.

In addition to preventing the spread of germs and viruses and minimising outside pollutants, good quality ventilation has a wide range of benefits, including:

At Mountair, we design, supply and install state of the art ventilation systems and will work with you to establish the best arrangement for your business setting. We can install ventilation as a stand-alone solution or integrate it with any heating or cooling you already have in place.

We have a wealth of experience working across all commercial sectors and understand that there are different ventilation solutions for every setting. Office workspaces and schools may simply need to increase the number of air changes per hour. Medical settings may require extra ventilation or HEPA filtration. In some clinical settings, it may be necessary to ensure zero air recirculation, which we have achieved in high-risk treatment rooms for the NHS.

Ventilation Solutions

Natural vs Mechanical

The immediate and obvious ventilation solution to improve the amount of fresh air in a room is to open a window and there is no doubt that this will dilute the air. But will it definitely improve the overall air quality? When considering what is required, employers must consider that quality air isn’t just about the potential Covid threat. Quality air should be free of other contaminants, like dust and pollution too.

Opening the window on a hot, busy day in a city centre won’t solve all the issues. There are other factors such as noise, pollution, wind, rain and of course, the outside temperature to contend with. If you already have air conditioning systems, then opening the window will work against the AC and in the winter, the cold air from outside will work against the heating. So, natural ventilation won’t always be the ideal solution and can cause other services to work less effectively or efficiently.

Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) is ideal the solution. This allows for simultaneous heating, cooling and extraction of stale air, with the provision of fresh ventilation.

Our recent projects include installations for hospital, schools and colleges, as well as for general office spaces. Wherever you need ventilation solutions, our reputable and accredited team at Mountair can discuss your options, to help you make an informed decision.
